The next chapter of Re ZERO Starting Life in Another World begins in April 2026. A new trailer and key visual debuted at MF Bunko Autumn School Festival, confirming Tomokazu Sugita as Reid Astrea, the first Sword Saint and towering legend of the Astrea line. The returning cast features Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru, Rie Takahashi as Emilia, Satomi Arai as Beatrice, Rie Murakawa as Ram, Inori Minase as Rem, Takuya Eguchi as Julius, Kana Ueda as Anastasia, Eri Suzuki as Meili, Fairouz Ai as Shaula, Kengo Kawanishi as Rye Batenkaitos also credited as Roy Alphard, and Konomi Kohara as Rui Arneb.

Director Masahiro Shinohara returns at White Fox alongside series composer Masahiro Yokotani, character designer Haruka Sagawa, and composer Kenichiro Suehiro. Tappei Nagatsuki’s original novels continue to anchor the adaptation, with the new season set to raise the stakes on fate, memory, and choice.

The trailer hints at a renewed clash of ideals as Subaru confronts consequences only he remembers. Reid’s arrival injects a volatile force into a world already split by politics and prophecy.
