Record of Ragnarok fans have reason to celebrate as the anime’s highly anticipated third season will premiere on December 10, 2025, exclusively on Netflix worldwide. The new trailer teases epic battles, emotional stakes, and the introduction of new characters, including Michel de Nostradame, voiced by Shun Horie.

The trailer also unveils the powerful opening song “Dead or Alive” by the legendary Japanese rock band GLAY, alongside the emotional ending theme “Last breath, Last record” performed by Saori Hayami. Both tracks will be available digitally on the same day as the anime’s debut.

Directed by Koichi Hatsumi (Tokyo Revengers), Season 3 continues the gods-versus-humans tournament that defines the Record of Ragnarok saga. Yasuyuki Muto returns as the main writer, with Youko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima leading character design duties. The production is handled by Yumeta Company x MARU Animation, ensuring dynamic visuals and cinematic fight choreography.

Adapted from the manga by Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui, the third season will continue humanity’s desperate struggle to survive divine judgment, with the gods and humans tied at three wins each. As the stage is set for the seventh showdown, expectations are soaring for another high-stakes clash of ideologies, faith, and strength.

With its unique blend of mythology and martial arts spectacle, Record of Ragnarok has become a global hit since its 2021 debut. Season 3 aims to surpass all previous entries with stunning animation, deeper character arcs, and a soundtrack designed to electrify audiences.
