The highly anticipated ROLL OVER AND DIE anime has dropped its first main trailer and key visual, officially setting its Japanese premiere for January 2026. The trailer gives fans a first look at the intense world of Flum Apricot, backed by powerful theme songs and a cast packed with talent.

J-pop unit PassCode performs the opening song Liberator, previewed in the new trailer, while Yuki Tanaka performs the ending theme I need. The dark fantasy series, produced by A.C.G.T Studio and directed by Nobuhara Kamanaka, promises a striking mix of violence, resilience, and empowerment in a world where divine destiny meets human cruelty.

The voice cast includes Ayaka Nanase as Flum, Miku Ito as Milkit, and Machico as Sara Anvilen. Supporting roles are voiced by Misaki Kuno, Masakazu Morita, and Aya Endo among others. The series composition is by Mariko Kunisawa (Ascendance of a Bookworm), and Ryo Takahashi (Arifureta) handles the music.

The story follows Flum Apricot, a young girl born with zero stats who’s forced into the hero’s party by divine selection. Betrayed and sold into slavery, she’s left to die—until she takes up a cursed sword that could destroy her or save her. Her decision ignites the “reversal” of her fate, launching a tale of vengeance, freedom, and love.

Crunchyroll confirmed it will stream ROLL OVER AND DIE globally in 2026, positioning it as one of the season’s most anticipated fantasy titles.
