WurtS, one of Japan’s most innovative solo artists, has teamed up with the hit anime DAN DA DAN for a brand-new collaboration music video. The video, now streaming on YouTube, features the Season 2 ending theme “Doukashiteru” set against dynamic scenes from episodes thirteen to seventeen, giving fans both a musical and visual treat.
The song has been available across major streaming platforms since July 11, and the collaboration has only strengthened its growing popularity. Fans praised how the track’s energy perfectly complements the anime’s mix of action, humor, and supernatural thrills.
WurtS has been making waves in the Japanese music scene since launching his solo career in 2021. Known for his unique approach of handling every part of his music production—from writing and arranging to visual design—his sound blends dance, rock, hip-hop, and soul influences. The artist is also preparing for his much-anticipated Concert Hall Tour II titled DIGITAL LOVE, which begins in October and will take him to major cities including Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. In addition, he is slated to appear at some of the country’s biggest summer music festivals, including Rock in Japan Festival, Wild Bunch Fest, and Space Shower Sweet Love Shower.
Meanwhile, DAN DA DAN Season 2 continues to dominate as one of the most talked-about anime of Summer 2025. It was voted the most anticipated title of the season and has stayed at the top of weekly fan rankings since its premiere. The anime is directed by Abel Góngora at Science SARU and has captivated audiences worldwide with its blend of horror, comedy, and romance.
The original DAN DA DAN manga, written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu, has been serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform since 2021. With twenty volumes released to date, the series continues to grow in popularity both in Japan and abroad.
