The much anticipated trailer for Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc has just been released, and it delivers everything fans could have hoped for. Packed with emotional intensity, fast paced action, and a new powerful character, the trailer marks the official start of the next chapter in Denji’s unpredictable journey. The announcement came during AnimeJapan 2025, igniting massive excitement among Chainsaw Man followers around the world.
The trailer opens with Denji continuing to navigate his complex feelings for Makima. But the tone quickly shifts when he meets Reze, a charming and mysterious girl who works at a local café. Their brief moments together hint at something deeper, and the chemistry between them is instantly noticeable. As their relationship grows, it introduces a love triangle that complicates Denji’s already fragile emotional world.
What fans were waiting for most, however, is the intense battle footage. And the trailer does not disappoint. It features Denji transforming into Chainsaw Man in a visually gripping sequence that is both brutal and beautiful. Reze, on the other hand, is revealed to be much more than she seems. As the infamous Bomb Devil, her transformation is explosive both literally and narratively, pushing Denji into one of the most emotional and dangerous battles of his life.
The animation is once again handled by MAPPA, and it reflects the same level of detail, expression, and intensity that made the first season so iconic. The team has managed to stay faithful to the original manga’s Reze Arc, which spans chapters 40 to 52. Every frame shown in the teaser feels rich and deliberate, bringing Fujimoto’s art to life in the most dynamic way possible.
Adding another layer of depth is the film’s theme song, “IRIS OUT” by Kenshi Yonezu. Known for his powerful vocals and emotional compositions, Yonezu’s music blends seamlessly with the action and mood of the trailer, leaving a strong impression long after it ends.
The movie is set to premiere in Japan on September 19, 2025. Indian fans will get to experience it on September 26, with both Japanese and Hindi language options. The global release, including the United States and the United Kingdom, begins on October 29. With a combination of high stakes battles, personal emotions, and stunning visuals, this film is shaping up to be one of the most significant anime releases of the year.
Chainsaw Man’s Reze Arc is not just about action. It is about longing, betrayal, and the tragic cost of wanting to belong. As Denji struggles to understand who he is and what he wants, Reze becomes the spark that lights a new fire inside him one that might burn everything down.
