The excitement around the new Demon Slayer film has reached massive heights, but so has the concern over piracy. The production team behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has issued a fresh legal warning after illegal recordings from the latest movie, Infinity Castle, were uploaded and circulated online. The notice was shared publicly on the official website in English, Japanese, and Chinese to reach fans worldwide.

The statement expressed gratitude to the global fanbase for their enthusiasm, but also addressed the serious concern of unauthorized filming and distribution. According to the production committee, these acts are in clear violation of copyright laws and disrupt the effort and creativity that went into making the film. The team has stated that civil and criminal legal actions will be taken against individuals involved in recording or uploading any part of the movie, regardless of anonymity.

This is the second time such a warning has been issued. The first notice came shortly after the release of a special trailer shown only in theaters, which was also shared illegally online. These repeated warnings underscore the seriousness with which the studio is treating piracy during this critical phase of the franchise.

Despite the controversy, Infinity Castle has seen an explosive box office performance in Japan. In just four days, the film attracted more than five million viewers and earned close to fifty million dollars. These numbers put it on track to surpass the record-breaking success of Mugen Train, the previous theatrical installment in the Demon Slayer series.

The global release of Infinity Castle is set to begin on August 14. Crunchyroll’s Chief Content Officer Asa Suehira previously teased a rollout on an unprecedented scale, indicating that this will be one of the largest anime movie launches to date. The film is also the first part of a trilogy that will bring the epic Demon Slayer story to its final chapters, promising an emotional and action-packed conclusion for fans.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki and produced by Ufotable, Infinity Castle picks up during the Hashira Training arc. Just as the Demon Slayer Corps prepares for their final confrontation with the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji invades their headquarters and pulls Tanjiro and the Hashira into the dark and dangerous Infinity Castle. With the stakes at their highest, the final battle between the demon hunters and Muzan’s forces begins.

While fans are eager to witness the conclusion of the beloved series, the creators are urging audiences to respect the film by watching it through official and legal channels. They have emphasized that piracy not only harms the creators and the experience but also threatens the global growth of anime as an industry.
