The Gachiakuta anime has unveiled its official preview for Episode 6, titled One Good Strike!!, and fans can expect a fierce showdown that will test Rudo’s resolve like never before. Studio BONES FILM continues to deliver visually stunning animation for the series, which is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The anime has recently expanded its roster with new voice actors portraying members of the Cleaners, further enriching the world and its characters.
The episode’s synopsis reveals a dangerous twist in the Cleaners’ latest mission. What appeared to be a routine request was, in fact, a trap set by vandals with a single target in mind Rudo, the Sphereite. As chaos breaks out, Zanka is left behind to hold off the attackers, while Rudo makes his escape with Gris and Follo. Their flight is short-lived, however, as they encounter Jabber, a new Raider with terrifying abilities.
Determined to protect his companions, Gris stands his ground, but Jabber proves to be a formidable threat, transforming both of his hands into deadly weapons before launching a relentless assault. The clash promises to be one of the most thrilling battles of the season, combining high-octane combat with the emotional stakes that have defined Gachiakuta’s storytelling.
The series is based on the manga created by Kei Urana, with graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou providing unique art elements. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since its debut, Gachiakuta has released fifteen volumes as of June 17, with Kodansha USA publishing the English editions since January 2024. The anime adaptation has been praised for capturing the gritty yet vibrant aesthetic of the manga while enhancing it with fluid animation and dynamic fight sequences.
Episode 6 features a talented production team led by writer Hiroshi Seko, storyboard artist Heo Jong, and episode director Ikuro Sato.
