Story Overview

Based on the light novel by Teren Mikami with illustrations by Eku Takeshima, the sequel continues the story of Renako Amaori, a once-shy and introverted girl who transformed herself in high school to fit in with the popular crowd. Her new life spirals into chaos when she finds herself caught between two confessions — one from the campus prince Mai Ouzuka and the other from the angelic Ajisai Sena.
As Renako struggles to understand her own emotions, she joins her friend Kaho in a cosplay event to clear her mind. What begins as a distraction soon becomes a moment of self-discovery, forcing her to question her fears, desires, and what “love” truly means to her.
Visuals and Themes

The trailer highlights a delicate balance of comedy, emotional introspection, and romantic tension. With lush animation, soft lighting, and expressive character moments, the sequel promises a more mature take on Renako’s personal journey — one that blends humor with heartfelt emotion.
