Anime YouTuber Gigguk is finally making his anime dream a reality. His original isekai project, Bâan, will officially premiere in Tokyo on August 24 at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro. The screening begins at 6:20 pm JST and will feature Gigguk himself introducing the film to fans. The announcement comes with ticket details, teaser visuals, and a growing buzz around what is shaping up to be one of the most personal and heartfelt anime releases this year.

Bâan, which carries the subtitle The Boundary of Adulthood, was first revealed at Anime Expo 2025 and has since garnered attention for its thoughtful premise and creative team. Directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi, best known for Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, and scored by acclaimed composer Kevin Penkin, whose past works include Made in Abyss, the film promises a richly emotional experience. Studio Daisy is behind the animation, adding an indie touch to this intimate, original creation.

Set in the imagined realm of Euthania, which connects in mysterious ways to modern Japan, the story follows two young protagonists searching for identity and belonging. The narrative leans into themes of growth, nostalgia, and self-discovery, making it not just another isekai adventure, but a story rooted in real-life emotions.

The premiere event offers a variety of ticket packages, each with unique merchandise and memorabilia. Fans have the chance to sit beside Gigguk and the director if they purchase one of the limited high-tier VIP packages. While only three of those are available globally, general admission tickets will be open from August 4 through August 18, giving many fans the opportunity to attend what promises to be a heartfelt evening.

After the Tokyo premiere, Bâan will be released globally for free on Gigguk’s YouTube channel, accompanied by a behind-the-scenes documentary that explores the creative journey behind the film. Gigguk has expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity, calling it the culmination of years of passion and dedication. He describes the project as a dream come true and hopes audiences around the world will feel the sincerity behind the film’s creation.

As part of the broader GeeXProductions slate, which also includes titles like Soul Mart and Otachan!, Bâan represents a major moment for creators who have grown up with anime and are now contributing to the medium in deeply personal ways.
